Its going to at first, at least with the Skill Based Match Making. If you're a decent player, after you log a few games you should see the difficulty starting to increase.

They've actually had that a few times, I believe it was called low ground or something similar. The LTMs have been pretty good recently.

my kids just ran up stairs to tell me they got a VR on their first match as well. while i was in the middle of a work call.
it's definitely weighted now. i'm getting 7-11 kills every single match, only have a squad win to show for it.

Definitely noticed that.

I just won my first match. Wish I would have read this thread first and I would have saved it for my 8 year old. My 12 year old is going to wreck shop and up the difficulty before I can enjoy all of the noobz.

Had so many second places yesterday but didn't get one win (and this was across all three game modes)... Frustrating as hell

The bots i've seen just stand there and open field snipe at you. Once you engage, they build a single wall and just kind of peak around it. If you see them at a POI, they just run around randomly farming walls and shite
With the crazy amount of terrain differential, third partying is going to be crazy this season. Its real easy to sneak up on a fight as there are rolling hills in every damn zone.

Yeah, but with no mobility (like at all), if you have a clean fight you should be fine (definitely guilty of having not clean fights)... The issues will be when it takes forever to kill a squad

Yeah, it's a lot right now... But the condensed loot pool plays soooo much better overall. Getting a green snipe first chest blows (happened a bunch yesterday)

Been following this thread for a while....I play with my 13 YO son (hes ok (7 wins)...I suck...but we enjoy the time together). We got two duo wins last night with new matchmaking...I guess I am bringing him down to my level and the bots are terrible lol. I don't like all green/grey weapons in chests...not much chance for a blue or purple. Have yet to get a gold. Seems like they lowered the drop rate considerably so that people would have to farm and use the upgrade machine.

Drop at the snow mountain on the left side of the map. It has an outpost of metal on it. In that outpost is a kings chest. It drops purple gold weapons.

No, just mean there are a lot fewer items in the pool (one pistol, 2 shottys, 2 ARs, 1 sniper, 1 rocket launcher)... So your odds of finding things that are actually useful are much higher.
