Finally got some good ping. Was getting some nasty games in. Love the Tommy gun + double barrel.
I'm going to try an experiment tomorrow and run no AR but use Tommy gun, shotty,splodes, heal, sniper.
AR bloom is terrible.

I’m tellin y’all, dbl barrel is the truth. I erased so many dudes from existence last night. They try and build spam, just tommy gun them until you phase through, switch to dbl barrel, then splatter them. I was laughing at P90 and SMG users last night.
Another funny occurrence last night, I saw a dude run into a shed near Loot Lake and I crept up on him. Come around and he obv hears me. I throw a spike trap on the floor and kill him. Little did I know, he threw a spike trap on the ceiling at the exact same time, to where I thought the sound of his trap deploying was the same was the sound of mine. I go in to loot and get popped, but survived thankfully

I’ve picked it up a few times but haven’t used it yet for anything worthwhile. My kids have been out of town for 3 weeks so I’m trying to catch up on their account with challenges.
I just got only 1 kill in 3 straight 50v50s. The last kill each time. Matches have all been over in less than 8 minutes. I guess everyone just goes straight for the circle and I’m late to the party. Weird.

Only good story I have from last night was jumping into the LTM as a solo (with fill on), I have my mic muted because frick talking to little kids, and one of the other guys who has a mic starts talking SOOOOO much trash about us "no mics" and how he was gonna have to carry the team
Got lucky with rng from weapon drops (gold scar, gold heavy), and just start lighting people up... Ended up with 6 kills (trash talker had ONE, and I rev'd his arse twice)... We place second because numb nuts decided to rush in against a full squad when it was just the two of us left.
Turned my mic on long enough to say "nice carry, douchebag" and left

I always loved the Tommy gun. I was saying it's difficult to run a Tommy gun and AR in the beginning of the game when you don't have alot of AR bullets. I just pick up a SMG instead to have more ammo.

So reddit is still melting over SMG's being so good. I am not a good player. I give myself 5.5/10 for effort. I do like the SMG stuff, because shotguns are extremely boring and inconsistent unless you have perfected jumping in circles and pumping.
I am not a great builder and have no desire to go that direction. Im functional at it, but get super bored/annoyed when dudes throw up 3 and 4 story mansions in seconds on console. I use it to not die as fast and that's it. that being said I get it that i'm the type of player the great guys don't want to empower with shredding smg's

BUILDING CHANGES
By increasing initial wall health values based on material type, material strength should feel more intuitive when making decisions
Wood wall initial HP increased from 80 to 90
Stone wall initial HP increased from 80 to 100
Metal wall initial HP increased from 80 to 110
SMG CHANGES
Dropping SMG effectiveness - they should feel good against structures, but not consistently be the best option in multiple scenarios.
Compact SMG
Reduced damage from 22/21 to 21/20
Reduced clip size from 50 to 40
Drum Gun
Reduced falloff range damage from 80% to 70% at 3500 units
Reduced falloff range damage from 65% to 55% at 5000+ units
Added environmental damage fall off matching player damage fall off
Decreased jumping accuracy by 5%
Decreased targeting accuracy by 10%
Reduced spawn rate from chests and floor loot by 40%
