I can't do anything in this game anymore. I literally go 2 kills and 15 deaths yet I switch over to Titanfall 2 and do much better

If you play BF like Titanfall, you will do badly. Methodical movement around the map seems to be much more rewarded than run and gun from what I can tell, where Titanfall is constant movement and reaction.

I suppose that is true. There was a time where I could do decent in Battlefront, but I loose it not playing regularly

Going to third person was the biggest help for me. I was determined to make first person work since they finally put it into a battlefront game, but it just sucks. You're at a huge disadvantage. Hide around corners, pop out and kill, pop back.

Yep. I tried it for a bit too but the game is made for 3rd person.
Also, fighter squadron is the fastest way to gain levels IMO.
First time I tried it I got a score of 29-6 in the x-wing. 6k score for about 10 min of work.

I'm just convinced ps4 players are terrible shots with how little you're dying shoebang, or at least you've found some way to never be seen
The key to fighter squadron is the lock on isn't exact, especially if you are trying to hit rebels. There is a hit detection issue on some of their ships, so you need to use the sticks to lead them a little even when locking on.
Also, slowing down increases fire power and accuracy or using your speed boost does the same for power

I don't know. Not every game goes well, but I generally end up top 5 or better on my team score-wise and I pretty much just play infiltration and walker assault - large player count modes.
My KD is only 1.35 overall but I have a monster game here and there. I am very careful and play from long range most of the time. Positioning myself on the field to make easy kills as I attack objectives is my priority. ETA: Never partner spawn unless they are also near the spawn area because having no awareness of where they are and what is happening at that moment generally ends badly.
I throw in fighter squadron here and there to mix it up and I have generally done well.

I'm just messing with you 
I've really enjoyed the Battlestation game type on the Death Star. It allows two flying games with a ground assault game in between if your team is moderately competent. It gives a good mix so you aren't just doing one game mode over and over.

I know - but there is a method to my madness. Most games I do pretty well but not outstanding, but every now and then my method lines up perfectly with what the other team is doing and I wreck them.

It starts out where you have to take down a star destroyer in a space battle. Then you have to escort R2 off the Death Star with the plans, then you defeat the Death Star by running the trench and keeping fighters off your bombers.

I wish they would fix the DLC playlists. You play one round of whatever game mode you pick and it throws you into a queue for a random game type.

You've joked on me for some monster games, and my luck definitely ran out. Last night the best I did was 22-17 on Endor Walker Assault.
