i'm having trouble getting into fifa 2011
the defensive AI is pretty good
the offensive AI is horrible, which makes the defensive AI seem better

played the SPURS yesterday, won 1-0 at GERLAND and he beat me 2-1 in the return leg. all on ASSAULT the last 10 mins but couldnt put one in

honestly, I'm fricking sick of it. It's been building for awhile and I'm starting to just hate the game. The AIs are just way too poor for this game to be fun.
Defensive AI is incredible making shots and goals a ton of work, which would be fine except your teammates are complete morons. Each game mode is flawed.
If you play Virtual pro it's nearly impossible because your teammates are worthless. They can barely do the most basic things. Playing manager mode sucks for the same reason, but more because every fricking game is 1-0 or 0-0.
Playing online sucks. Throttle someone and lose 1-0. Happens all the time (both ways so not bitching cause it's just happening to me). You try to work the ball (because that's what this game was supposed to encourage) and then when you work slowly and pass it around, the other players just fricking stand there and watch. No movement and no excitement so if you don't do literally every damn thing, you're not scoring.
Also, how many times can the computer decide to pass somewhere you didn't tell it to? 2-1 with the goalie or another defender? Get ready for the pass to go right to the defender. Got someone offside? That's where your pass is going.
This game is too much damn work and it's not enjoyable. I'm actually excited for PES to come out now because I keep hearing good things about it. If this game isn't patched properly, and PES is any good, I'm done with FIFA 11.

I started out very discouraged bout this game but the more I play the better I get and realize the things I have to do. I think it's a lot more realistic then it normally is and plays like a real soccer game. It's frustrating because it's a "game", but in real life scores aren't always 4-3 or 5-4 like in other games. Sure I've had several 1-0 0-0 scores but I've also had several 3-2, 2-2 games. I think I've played about 30-35 games against another person and it's only ended 0-0 maybe 3 times.

+1. The game is good right now and they will patch and improve it

Good games Early. The goal from Rooney in the 1st game was a rocket - my best so far. Ibra had a GREAT goal in the 2nd game too. Enjoyed it.
