For the past month or so we've had scheduling issues, so that really hampered our progress. We're finally spend more than one lockout a week on it, and we're knocking off 10-15% each time. Should hope to have it by this weekend.

I had the same problem with my group with vacation and people more interested in other games and I felt I was putting more effort into the fight then the rest of them. So my actual first kill came with my fc's group I had pugged with them after i finished progression for the week with my group. My group kept the crap up these past 2 weeks and I just decided to start raiding with my Fc's group each week instead since they had another tank spot open up due to a crazy wife lol. So I took it. We are going to start savage coils sooner or later right now I think everyone is kind of content downing t6-9 in one night and not having to raid multiple nights a week.

Just hit t6. I now hate waffles. Its kicking our arse. But my FC and I are just a chill group. Not a single hardcore to be found. We kind of go at our own pace, i like it, but when i want to get shite done like coils, it makes it difficult. I know it will get done, but not before the new update, and just hate being behind.

I just got the email earlier for the heavensward expansion and it really makes me wish I could play this game. But I've seen a post in another thread that I would probably never be able to catch up. Add to that I'm already back logged like hell with hardly any time to catch up on those games. This sucks

I had great times playing XI

It's pretty easy to catch up. They nerf a lot of the older content to speed up the race to catch up. Just ran a t5 clear last night for a few FC memebers. In and out. It won't be as bad as you think. The only issues I'd see is grinding Tomes for gear.

Once I had finally geared up my Bard, I was pretty much burned out. Hated it because it's still fun. I just realized I couldn't keep that up.

Yeah it's where I'm at right now. Bard ilvl 109 with one two of the new armour you get with poetics. You burn throught those dungs and it just gets stale. The primal ex and coils can be fun, with people who know what they are doing else you just feel like you are wasteing time if you aren't getting clears. What pisses me off is that once I know a fight...I don't frick up and I get so annoyedwhen other others can't get it lol. I'm a causal player that's needs to be in a hardcore static, just don't have time to commit to one.

With the new expert roulettes (70 poetics/day), it's super easy. You just have to spend 30 minutes in a dungeon and then spend rest of time playing other content.

I'm up to i113 btw. We've gotten quite close to beating t11 several times.

There's space for you. I'm a pretty casual player (play 5-6 hours/week, sometimes less) and I've been a part of a decent static (we've beaten all coil and content before any nerfs applied).

I could manage this. Scheduling becomes the issue.

I've got a pretty static work schedule, so I typically find ways to fit in FF nights without interrupting other stuff. You'll find others have more issues scheduling than you'd think.

I'm sure if you tried, you'd be able to find a spot. You might have to spend some running some of the new content (have you even done 2.2 stuff?), but Hyperion is still quite active.

I can't remember the last thing I did, honestly. Maybe Crystal Tower, or whatever it's called, was just released.

You quit right after (and I mean right after, like 1 day after) 2.1 was released.

Geez. That was with the 2.1 content. You'd have a ton of quests, new dungeons, raid content, and a new class to try if you come back.

I quit right after 2.2 was released... and I still can't think of a really good reason to come back, the game just didn't appeal to me I guess??

Darv said he re-upped and just does "dailies" a night or two a week. Not getting super into the end game stuff. Sounds appealing, but I couldn't justify the $10 for a game I hardly play.

I need a sponsor. I miss just doing leve quests and BS'ing the whole night.

I mean, if you weren't having fun, you weren't having fun. I do think they've done a nice job at adding varied content with each patch and update. Story has also remained interesting imo.

Edit: They did a free login weekend in November. I'm sure they'll do it again.

So I re-upped for a month. Will see if it's enough to keep me playing to warrant the $9.99.

He always follows suit, even if he's adamant he won't.

Well, I'll be happy to help you guys if I can. Shouldn't be too hard to get some friends to run you through some of the new content.
