December 4, 2018 – Next week’s update will bring an increase to the Stash limit, as well as a variety of performance and stability improvements, balance changes, and multiple bug fixes to the game. We’ll have full patch notes available later this week ahead of Tuesday’s update. Some notable issues being addressed in this update include:
•Stash Limit Increased: We know many of you have been asking for an adjustment to the Stash storage limit, and we’re happy to share that we’re increasing it from 400 to 600. While this is somewhat conservative, we plan to increase the storage cap further once we verify that this change will not negatively impact the stability of the game.
•Boss Loot: Players should correctly receive two to three items after taking down a boss, depending on the creature’s difficulty and level.
•Cryolator Effects: Players hit with the Cryolator are now Chilled, Frosted, or Frozen depending on how many times they are hit. The duration of movement speed reductions applied by these effects have also been decreased from 2 hours to 30 seconds.
•Respawning When Overencumbered: We’ve resolved an issue affecting players who die while overencumbered that only allowed them to Respawn at Vault 76. Now, overencumbered players will be able to respawn at the nearest discovered Map Marker.
•Stuck in Power Armor: We’ve addressed an issue in this patch that could cause players to become stuck inside Power Armor. We’re also aware that there are some additional cases where this can occur, and we are actively investigating them.
December 11, 2018 – The next update after December 4 is currently planned for the following week. Like previous patches, it will include a variety of bug fixes, but we’re also planning to bring some more notable changes and features to the game. You can catch a preview of these improvements below, and a full list of changes will be included in the December 11 patch notes.
•PC Additions: A Push-to-Talk setting for Voice Chat, 21:9 resolution support, and a Field of View setting are all being implemented on PC with this update.
•SPECIAL Respec: After level 50, you’ll be able to choose between a new Perk Card, or moving a SPECIAL point you had previously allocated.
•C.A.M.P. Placement on Login: Your C.A.M.P. will no longer be automatically blueprinted and stored if someone is occupying your location when you log into a server. Instead, you’ll receive a notification that your space is occupied. If you decide to find a new home for your C.A.M.P. on that server, it will be free to do so. However, if you don’t attempt to place down your C.A.M.P., you will be able to switch to a new server where that spot is vacant and your C.A.M.P. will be fully assembled and waiting for you.
•Bulldozer: This is a new C.A.M.P. feature that will allow you to remove small trees, rocks, and other obstructions so it’s easier to create and place your C.A.M.P. when and where you want it. You can also use the Bulldozer to clear these items from the surrounding area to make your C.A.M.P. feel more like home!

What are the FoV options?

So they are adding a mod we had in FO4 since 2015?
Nice.

Yeah it is currently a soup sandwich. Its months off imo.
Just nothing to really do. The world is bare, a true wasteland.

you should try navigating toward the spots on your map to find landmarks for stuff to do
glad I could help

it is pretty barren BUT there are some buildings with multi step quests and keys/finding shite etc. gives that "dungeon dive" quality that most of us enjoyed from previous fallouts
yes, above ground, I was noticing this last night.
Walking through streets in Boston it felt like I would get ambushed by a gang of super mutants with kitted out sniper rifles every turn. bombs, secret embankments, bobby traps, roaming packs of bad guys etc.
IN Appalachia there is hardly anything roaming the streets . hardly any animals either

Didn't say we do not have SOME quests to do.
Its a whole lot of nothing right now though.
It needs more time. It shouldn't have been released like this, not in this state. Also some choices with AP and consumables are pretty dumb and lazy.

I haven't played it but Cohhcarnage is up to about 100 hours in his stream so I wouldn't say there is nothing.
His style of gameplay is probably different than yours. He likes to explore every location. Every building.

Up to level 17 now and im enjoying much more. Maybe just the inital shock? I really wish i could get some help with events. Like im the only one ever doing them and the only one ive done is fertile soil. Id love to see what others rewards are out there for them.
I need some better armor and weapons bad. got a marksman hardened sniper rifle and black diamond ski sword are my main go to but ran into a level 14 some alien looking thing that was hard as frick to bring down. this was after sniping 3 times at 2x damage. Guess its more suceptible to other weapons like energy or what.

it seems the events scale with the # of people present for them.
so, if you do an event alone, the # of mobs scale down.
ive done quite a few events, some repeated, and noticed the # of mobs spawn is different if I had 1 person or 4 people helping.
the events are pretty fun. Last night me and someone else defended the airport from wild dogs, using way too many machine gun turrets.
you probably need to spec your SPECIAL points into rifle damage (perception?) and get the right cards. Stacking upgraded PERK cards for a specific weapon type is how to get big damage.

Lack of real quest lines suck. Nothing honestly feels meaningful.
Edt: Watching poor Oxhorns stream yesterday. The guy seems nice but ppl giving him shtt since he is playing 76. Throw your shtt at Bethesda, not streamers who might honestly semi enjoy the experience.

I had to move my CAMP more to the south as I going through the treacherous mines and protest sites (work for a human not a robot, etc)
while fricking around on my workbench, got attacked from ghouls. they startled me and I accidently ran off a small cliff.
realizing that my camp was shite, since it was just 2 crafting benches and a water pump, I decide to commit to building a proper base with floors, walls, then toss some turrets on the roof
now that ive opened Pandora's box and begun building a legit base and with the CAMP patch coming, I imagine ill be playing this for a while

Stash is a huge problem. We should be able to have 6000 not 600. Its really the only place to put stuff. They need this fixed ASAP. Here is all this great stuff you can loot and collect, but you have a thimble to put it in.

I’ve honestly not had any issues with stash limits.... I break down any armor or weapons I’m not gonna use, break down all scrap and bulk it together. By bulking the scrap together it weighs about half as much.
Once you can use power armor, attach all the power armor pieces to a frame and store the frame and it’s only 10 lbs.
I’ve yet to hit my max limit
Oh and frick missiles and mini nukes. 100% not worth the weight

they had to cap STASH pretty low due to server stability and potential exploits. obviously we all know there are a ton of bugs, so their impact had to be determined.
for instance there is apparently a "pocketed" armor glitch and people are able to carry WAYYY too much stuff. If a server ends up being 25% of people high level using this glitch, instability may result.
So I understand why stash limit was set low, while they gauged performance metrics. Giving everyone 2000 stash limit and having servers go down constantly, on top of all the other problems, would make this game a lot fricking worse

This. I laughed when I saw they raised it from 400 to 600.
In fallout 4 yesterday I was carrying almost 5000 and that is with junk weighing 0.
I can't play a game with stash / inventory so tight. It would cause me actual physical stress.
