Ive never understood this.
Who cares? Do you enjoy your choice? Is it still available and growing? If you answer yes to these, what does it matter what writters say?
Same goes for the constatnt console flame wars. While funny when taken with a grain of salt the serious fanboi(ulimatehog) is just retarded.
Its just the overall tone that irks me. I know its a shtick for some of you but its one of the more annoying schticks on the GB. A hair above the NCAA threads and on par with the BFvsCOD schtick.

Probably the fact that most of them partake in the denigration (whether sarcastic or not...) of "console" gamers while also engaging in console games themselves.
I'm sure most individuals who qualify themselves as "PC gamers" own at least one console on which they occasionally play. I can't imagine how posters who consider themselves "gamers" could restrict their gaming activities to just the PC, especially given all of the console exclusive games in 2013 alone...The Last of Us, Pikmin 3, Gears of War: Judgement, God of War: Ascension, GTA V, Beyond: Two Souls, PS4/One launch titles, and so on.

I just bought 7 great games for $6. Another big reason I love PC gaming.
