Yeah, it’s gonna be free to download if you have the EOD edition

i cant see it being successful at all

The addictive aspects of tarkov are the looting and extracting, despite the terrible weapon balance and gunplay

now you have a mode that emphasizes the terrible weapon balance and gun play??

if they throw money at it like the Hunt series comps, then there will be pro players, but I dont see myself playing this unless its a warmup to raid or a time killer if someone dies early in a group raid and is waiting for a reset

The only way Tarkov will truly take off in its current state is if they make it Free to Play.
They are now adding an alternative multiplayer mode for players to play in the event they aren't a fan of the raiding and just spent $200 on a game.

Big tarkov patch today, wishing I had spent more time on that task for extra stash space now

Running solo definitely has that tense, every-move-matters vibe, but playing with a squad makes a huge difference, especially when you have solid comms. Discord groups help a lot with callouts and splitting loot, and just having someone to cover you while healing is a game-changer. If you're into tactical shooters and want an edge in other games too, checking out https://stealth-core.com/store/category/15-apex-hacks/ might be interesting. You playing any specific maps more, or just hitting everything?

Just be careful if you end up playing with some dude that goes by "sweat". You'll spend most of your time having to hide his equipment in bushes for him to get it back via insurance.

finally caved and bought it this wipe. feels like i paid $50 to be other peoples content. seriously, 90% of my deaths were to people with 1k+ hours in a game where knowledge is extremely powerful. its at the point where it is too new player unfriendly to sustain a new player pop for them to learn against each other.

maybe that changes with the 1.0 wipe where enough fresh meat comes in to make a difference but i wouldnt touch this as a noob without someone to carry you for the first 50 hours.

I recommend you to purchase of the PvE expansion. you can play co-op or solo and dont have to worry about cheaters or sweats

It’s a no brainer for people who want to enjoy the game at their own pace. Flea market has a live player base even though the game is strictly PvE.

It's honestly incredible for me. I get to play maybe once a month if you average it out over the course of a year.

You can co-op PvE mode and my understanding is wipe doesn't reset you on PvE

both are correct. Progression wipe is user controlled

PVE was a nice change of pace. The player based bots are insane though and being in constant 3’s that rush you is frustrating. Mix that with constant boss spawns like the goons and it’s frustrating

I haven't played PVE but im glad its just as fricking annoying as PVP

Three week late jump on this wipe but progressing well. Electric drills almost made me quit the game. I like found in raid hideout but i'd rather found in raid for flea than the hideout

It definitely has it's own version of being kicked in the dick. But I'd rather just know there are 3 "players" at all times than some gigachad autist who plays all the time and has a giant forehead.
