VOIP has been fun.
Going to rename myself D2DJ and hang out in D2 playing music. No gun, no murder, just some sick beats.

You can only use VOIP for 15 sec out of a 20 sec time frame so unfortunately that wont really work.

Yeah this is the official patch notes:
Players cannot talk for more than 15 seconds consecutively. This means that every 20 seconds in a raid, you can only talk for 15 seconds, regardless of whether it’s consecutive or not.
Pressing the Push-to-talk button too often will trigger a short-term auto-block.

Never saw this thread but I picked it back up this wipe. Got to level 10 so far so I'm down to play if anyone's available in the afternoons or really early evenings...probably weekends as well. Just DM me on discord and I'll try to jump on.

I forgot all about discord. I’ve been doing decent this wipe I just hit 15 and opened the flea. Loving the changes. Far fewer chads running around with meta load outs. I’ll hit you up soon

I somehow got recommended a random clip on YT earlier today and got intrigued in the game the people were playing, found out it was Escape From Tarkov, and have been watching YT clips on it since. I was going to start a thread here asking if anyone plays the game and if it's worth it, and lo and behold, I see a thread on the game on the front page.
So, for players of the game, would you recommend getting it? How is it for new players? Is it worth the price, think it's ~$33 something right now for the standard edition?

Yeah man I played for an hour or so earlier. I think its the best FPS I've ever played. It certainly isn't for everyone but it scratches the itch. You're gonna wanna watch a lot of videos and have a second screen with the map up til you get your bearings.
