This is my first attempt at playing, was busy the other beta weekends. Won't be paying $15 a month for a game though.

Yep I am waiting for maintenance to finish up. I guess they hit capacity way sooner than anticipated and went ahead and started to fix the load times. lucky bastards that haven't changed zones recently are still in playing. grrr

Well I'm still downloading. I should not have saved the launcher to my SSD. It now wants to download the 22gb file to my SSD, after which I assume it will unpack those files and install to my SSD as well.
I had to actually free up some space because it did not like that I only had 50GB free.

I got to the create character screen and it wouldn't create the character.
Logged out. Did a repair. Now I can't even log in.
Seems the stress test worked. They aren't ready.
Tried again. Now I get a server maintenance message. Also the log screen states they are working on Log issues and zone issues.

Played for a bit and the game is still very buggy but didn't hit me as anything special so far. I think I am burned out on MMOs because I haven't found one in a long time that could keep me more than a few months.

Second I log in, I get a big box with UI ERROR and I can't close the box or dismiss the error.
Tried playing with the box off to the side but it was too annoying. Tried reloading a few times and kept getting the error.

I downloaded for the 1st beta weekend and they were fine then, i just get updates now but they ran fine tool.

I was downloading at about half my max download rate. It fluctuated between 2 and 4 MB/s.

Played for an hour or so last night. It honestly feels a lot like a free-to-play MMO. The in-game menus are awful and feel like they were made with a controller in mind (could just be because of beta). Having attacks on the mouse buttons is a mistake, but it's being developed with consoles as a priority so it's not really shocking that it's kind of dumbed down.
I'm kinda glad I don't like it as I was debating the other day about spending $79.99 on the "Imperial" edition. Now I kinda doubt I ever buy it.

This thing is receiving terrible reviews. It really needs to be something special, I feel like all the good MMOs are dead and none will take their place.

I played for about 2 hours last night, and that's the vibe I got as well. There was absolutely nothing in those 2 hours that made the MMO part necessary. I could see other players, but we were essentially all on the same single-player mission. It's another elder scrolls game, with more of a money-train pricing model -- people have put hundreds of hours into the regular ES games, so why charge only $60?
Game wasn't terrible, but I would not pay a dime for the subscription. I think this beta is hurting the appeal of the game, especially knowing that this shite is only 2 months away from launch.

Reminds me of swtor, I would try to team up with my buddy and we would be doing separate quests the whole time. No reason to group for anything.
