I'm sure this was discussed earlier in the thread, but for all the newcomers, there's a super easy way to get an almost continuous 5% buff on the amount of runes you earn. All you need to do is add a bunch of Group Passwords to your Multiplayer settings and then every time someone using the same group password defeats a shardbearer boss, you get the temporary 5% buff on the amount of runes you earn.

I'm starting to regret not running a bleed build.

Mohg’s shackle and the purifying crystal tear. You can use the shackle twice per fight. I’d use it once at the fog door before you go in and you can get some good licks in if you don’t stagger him (use light attacks and chip away). Mix the crystal tear in your physick before the fight.

Those items are specifically for that fight so you will be done with them after you have beaten him.

Got it. Didn't use the shackle but had been using the tear. Fun fight. Onward.
Eta: I've been running solo and no ashes. If purists crucify me for using the tear, I don't care lol

Maybe not. You might have a better strategy. I couldn’t figure it out with an astrologer. She closes distance fast, she’s fast as frick, super long weapon, and regenerates health with each hit. It was a fricking nightmare.

Really the only way I've been surviving is by getting that staff in caelid early and pumping points into int and using my headless summon to distract bosses.

You need Black Knife Tiche from the Ringleaders Evergaol and Mimic Tear (a copy of you), from Night’s Sacred Ground. Those two are the GOAT ashes. That headless one was bad arse too. Make sure to level them up with Grace Gloveworts or Ghost Gloveworts at the chick in Roundtable.

If you guys are on Xbox and need any drops, give me a shout. I pretty much have 3 of everything and have just been collecting shite and exploring before my next playthrough. That and fighting at the colosseums. Those guys have some pretty nasty builds.
