I went a found a crystal sword that is really badass. There is a YouTube video that's out on how to get it. I also just went and beat the tree sentinel and I'm in the stormveil castle now. Those knights in there are pretty tough. I think I'm gonna take a break for a bit and dive back in later on.

I know exactly what you’re talking about. That one tiny room was a bitch to cast and dodge and the distance from the checkpoint was not fun to do repeatedly.
What spell are you mainly using now? I’m fond of Glintstone pebbles

Still using the first one you get when you start the game. Need to go buy some other spells from that lady.

I'm running prisoner with twin blade, meteorite staff, and a demi queen staff (I have a staff in each hand so I can use ranged spells on Torrent)
I'm using Great Glintstone Shard and Glintstone Arc ,(this one bc it goes through multiple enemies with one cast), the starting prisoner spell glintblade.
I also found some gravity magic called rock sling that scales with the meteorite staff (the staff itself is S on int and doesn't need upgrading)
I only have 3 slots atm bc unlike other FromSoft titles you don't get extra slots from the mind stat
I need to use pebble more I keep hearing it's OP

Running a strength build/Hero class. Just beat Godrick and am at level 35.
Anyone trying to beat these bosses without summoning NPCs for help? Seems pretty impossible to beat them solo (talking the Godrick and Margit mostly…..the other sub bosses I’ve found haven’t been too bad )

Got sent to a endgame area by a teleport trap and I’m in awe of the map size. Really don’t know how this game will ever be beat

Took me two hours to be Margit solo. Beat Godrick after a handful of tries. Once I figured out how to dodge through his fire I only healed like once during the entire fight

I haven't summoned on any of the bosses yet. Just beat Godrick. He was pretty tough. I try not to even use my ashes if possible, but I had to Godrick and the first main boss. I'm loving the hell out of this game. It's so much fun. I do wish multiplayer was a little better, but that's to be expected with Fromsoft.

I've ran into a few that are insane. One is called erdree or something close to that and the other is in a dungeon right at the start of the game. You have to use a stone sword key to get in. There's also a mini boss at the very bottom of Stormveil castle that much harder than Godrick.

I grinded out the 31 strength to use the huge greatsword only to find its a pretty terrible weapon so far. so many enemies move very fast and getting locked into its slow animations is a death sentence all too often.

I just finished up the second legacy dungeon tonight. I liked the vibe but the design wasn’t as good as Stormveil. Cleaning up some other stuff now before I head to the third region

It's amazing how big stormveil is. I thought I had gotten almost all the loot only to watch a YouTube video and see that I missed a ton of stuff.
I spent two hours last night going back to get everything I missed. I'm also tempted to go back to the depths of Stormveil and fight that mini boss.

What is your mind stat at? Mine is at 15 now, in think. Just curious how much you have to sink into mind to get three slots. I still only have two. I would like to eventually get 4 because some of these bigger spells will probably take two spots.

I got to the second main boss and now have to explore more and level up. I think I'm level 28 with just under 9 hours played. Been using the Uchigatana and I leveled it up at the Church of Elleh to max I think, but somewhere else it was allowing me the option to level up more? Not sure where I saw that or if I even should. Mostly using the same base armor.
I am running Prisoner so I actually had to find the Uchigatana in the Catacombs by running past all of those skeletons. Spammed my spell to kill the boss in that dungeon for the Talisman.

To get more spell slots you have to find mind stones. Can find enough for 8 extra slots. I found 2 so far. Don’t know where 1 was but I bought one from the vendor in the roundtable zone

Blacksmith in the round table zone can go higher. I found some nice medium armor called perfume traveler or something. But I still rock the prisoner helm. That thing has some nice stats

I really like the Uchigatana so I might just keep leveling that... and still using starting staff which I leveled up a couple times. Thinking about going after the Flying Dragon Agheel.... saw xQc do this fight and he was a lot lower level than me. Seems easy enough getting hits in on horseback and then maybe jumping off to attack the feet every so often.
Anyone else really curious about 'the ever-brilliant Goldmask' and 'the loathsome Dung Eater?' That opening cinematic still has me reeling - so epic.
Do you ever use shields? I found the Beast one (forget the name) in a camp but I mostly find myself not using shields at all.

I just literally found a tortoise shield, not a str build at all but I'm getting to 14 to use it

Uchigatana is OP so far. The bleed damage has saved my arse too many times in boss/mini boss fights.
