Supposedly it’s great. I haven’t looked into it but I know a lot of people really like it. Not my thing though

I just redeemed a 3 months free trial I got with buying the iPhone 12. Main reason I did was to play Fantasian, new Apple Arcade exclusive rpg from the final fantasy creator. It looks great. Will dive in on the plane ride in the morning

I have it because it came with my Apple Music, iCloud bundle.

I like it because there's no ads. That may or may not be worth the $5/ month to you.

I like it because all games have an offline requirement. It allows you to play very good games on planes or places with no wifi or data.
Reigns, Creaks and The Room Two are very good to start with.
