MGS1 yeah sure.
MGS2 was a little wacky.
MGS3 was great backstory into Boss and Big Boss and helped set up why Liquid and Solid (and the POTUS) were created
MGS4 had some nice moments and felt like a nice farewell to Ocelot and Snake but some of the story just was very very batshit Kojima
I loved the gameplay in MGS5 but didn't like the story.

of course. metal gear series is possibly the greatest of all time in terms of innovative storytelling and game play (especially ps1)

I did the MG double disc on PS1 the most. I loved that story.

MGS4 was some fun on PS3. Searching around for different camos to copy was fun
