I still get in my car and drive to the store to buy my video games on discs or cartridges in little boxes shrink wrapped in plastic, the way God intended.

Makes you wonder what they pay for them. Likely a huge cut in margin... but I'm not complaining

as a console player, who can hear the disc drive 5-8 feet away sitting/laying on the couch wearing a headset?

I was like that and would still be like that if I was a console gamer, but almost 6 years on PC means that basically all of my games sans my Blizzard titles are virtual licenses. And even then I think the Blizzard titles was just because I wanted the boxes and there aren't actual CDs. Actually the PC I built in January doesn't even have a disc drive. I do have a PS4 though with 4 games (it's hardly been played the entire year I've owned it now...) but I still want physical games. May actually be getting Death Stranding.
