I guess my question is how is ANY of that "confirmed"? What's the source of that other than that YouTube comment?

the only thing we know for sure is what Doc has come out and confirmed.
1) he had "inappropriate" conversations with a minor.
2) nothing was illegal (kinda contradicts line 1, but whatever)
3) never met the individual.
4) never exchanged images.
5) never arrested.
6) still got paid.
everything else is just hearsay. but that doesn't mean it's false information. i feel like more of Doc's side will come out eventually.
