Its only really a factor for COD, where 60 FPS is necessary to make the game even playable.
Case in point: Uncharted 3. Will be 30 FPS.
And just to prove my point about framerate and resolution. It will be 720p.
It will be arguable the best looking game ever made on console.

i could have sworn the 2nd one was in 1080p. it still looked great either way. best one in the series.

Well UC2 looked better than pretty much any game I've ever played, so that's telling in itself.

Native 720 that is upscaled to 1080 by the PS3.

So my original statement is only slightly askew as there is now maybe a handful of games that have been developed in the past year that are pushing over the traditional 30 fps mark. That doesn´t change the fact that existing consoles can only withstand 720p.
30 fps is rather annoying to stare at, I´ll agree. For this reason, I have been sticking to PC gaming for the majority of the past year.

Yeah it is easily the best FPS exclusive or multiplat that I have seen.
To be completely honest though, the multiplayer is very lacking due to only being 30 FPS.
I know that is going against what I said earlier, but this is a rare exception. It is paced similar to COD and really suffers from choppiness.

Perhaps the developers for Crysis didn't adjust accordingly to the console version as much as they needed to.
