The blizzard of yesteryear doesn’t exist anymore. Going to go into this with an open mind, but between my own elevated expectations based on prior experience with titles and a more sober outlook due to what I anticipate modern game devs to produce, I’m trying to just approach it on its own merits.
Hoping it’s not total dogshit but these days that seems to be the norm. Especially at launch.

Currently I'm al level 15 sorc. I just wanna get to level 20 the starting barb. Kinda using this as a guinea pig. Interface seems weird tbh as far as inventory. I dig the skill tree. I'm used to being able to see which spells or attacks are doing more damage and so far I can't seem to find that particular stat.

Anyone had random spurts of what seems like rubberbanding on PC? Happened a couple times on an otherwise fairly smooth hour or so session.

Anyone else hate how slow WW is. Wtf. Maybe based on weapon speed but it requires a bludgeon weapon so I doubt it will speed up. Sorcs feel ok. Trying to do all cold but hydras have saved my arse more than anything. Put a skill point there just to see how the skill was and its a requirement I feel. I've prolly respec a dozen times just fricking around.

Just stopped by to say, the game feels much better on PS5 than PC. Might be because my computer isn't new (1070ti 8700k) but I'm not having the issues I was on PC.

My FPS drops randomly in cities just walking around… is the game just not fully optimized yet? It’s dipping into 40s and sometimes 20s (rarely). Otherwise it’s consistently in 60/70s and 90s outside of cities.. maybe my PC too now sucks. If this was the final product I wouldn’t purchase as it plays now. Even with consistent 70s fps walking around cities something just feels off about it.

Did Nvidia release new drivers for this beta?

Do you have the option to set texture quality to high? I have a similar build.

Texture Quality is on Medium and my only other option is Low. Shadow Quality is set to Highest though.

Yeah I had the same issue even though I downloaded the high res texture pack which was an extra 40gb. I have a 1080ti which has 12gb of vram I think, and 16 gb of ram. Thought it was strange and apparently a lot of other people had same issue. Can only go up to medium.
