Speaking of changing Tiers, you can farm cinders on WT3, then switch back over to WT4 to open the mystery chests.
At the level and gear I'm at now it's not really worth it, but wish I had known that when I first hit WT4 and started farming Helltides.

I don’t know if you still can. You used to be able to do that.
Helltides kinda suck anyway so it’s not really worth it. Better just to do NM dungeons.

i've yet to find anything truly useful out of the helltides, nm dungeons seems to offer better bang for the time spent

I have a lot of optimizing to do. I just realized I skipped the entire WT3 nightmare dungeon loop. I haven't leveled any glyphs and I'm sure my paragon boards are a mess.
I thought about a full respec using a build guide. But I am having fun just seeing what I can put together.

glyphs are the key in those higher nm dun

The way the NM levels work are lvl 54 + the sigil number
So 21 = lvl 75. You should be clearing that fairly easily at 71. You should probably respec to something based off of the maxroll site

Before I went on vacation, general consensus was nightmare dungeons weren't worth running. The patch came out right when I left. At that point I was just hitting WT4.

Hit 95 and these last few levels are going to be tough to get through. Probably going to grind out this last bit of renown for each area and see where that puts me, then decide if I want to spam nms some more.
What are y’all rolling for the start of season 1? I’m leaning Barb for now but kinda want to play around with a Necro.

Game is officially getting stomped rn. Lvl 55, doing too much damage and not getting touched by any dungeon boss including nms. Just have to grind the levels to get to tier 4 I guess.

I cleared it at 60 as a Necro, probably could have done it lower, but as a Barb you’ll need to be higher. Rogues are pretty good for clearing it earlier as well.
There are plenty of “one shot” monsters in there and there isn’t anything you can do to tank that. It’s all about avoidance. If you want a carry let me know
