Up to level 56 2h Whirly barb and absolutely wrecking.
The glyph system was a lot easier to pick up than I expected.

Lvl 20 barb and I'm getting not doing enough damage to the bosses. Gonna have to farm better weaps at this point

Story done. Pretty good. Going to farm drops from the tree while knocking out the renown levels in each region.

God help me, I'm lvl 35 and still in Act 1. I just keep finding other stuff to do.

dont get too far behind. once you hit 50 you stop getting new gear until WT3 which is post story.

I guess I need to stop ducking around in WT1 at 49 then. I still only get drops in the early 40s though.

Get to t3 when you can. The power spike is real nice when you get a few pieces of sacred and some decent aspects

like there's a drastic difference between a level 40 item stats and a level 45 item stats.
i'm probably using items that are 10 levels behind my current level status because i don't want to lose what i've imprinted on them.
for example, my two rings are imprinted with something, can't remember what, but i've gotten plenty of rare rings that have +5% resistance to elements than what i'm currently using. i refuse to use them cause i can't pull the aspects back off my old ones. small percentage increases like that don't seem worth it to me. sure, there are other stats to look at in terms of different damage percentages, but those are so miniscule as well.
i guess i just got to up the difficulty to get anything worth upgrading to.

THis is my first ARPG and I am loving it. 35 Sorcerer chain lightning the shite out of everything. I just started Act3. I'm a WT1 player.

welcome to the club. ARPG have long been one of my favorite genres. its just a very satisfying loop if done well and good "turn the brain off" time of relaxation gaming.

just powered through the end of the story. ending was ok. kinda annoying but ok. i have no idea what to do with the paragon points or anything relating to end game.

consider the paragon board just a big set of passive buffs. some boards are better for certain builds because of specific legendary/magic nodes. glyphs are interchangeable, basically are a multiplier to the paragon board.

Check your watch...it's GEAR:30. Run dungeons for aspects, farm tree of whispers for upgrades, get ready to unlock WT3. You're just getting started.

Any thoughts on when I should push tier 3 as barbarian? I switched to HOTA build for leveling and it's been nice. Don't know if I should keep that build for tier 3 or switch to WW.

I’d say whenever you can solo the capstone dungeon (Cathedral of Light) you’re ready for tier 3. Went in halfway through lvl 48 and was 49 by the time I finished. If you have elixirs (attack speed boost, dmg buff to ascendants) use them. Helps a lot
