This worked for.
Had left it initializing thinking it was downloading. Came back just now and it hadn't done anything. Restarted, and now it's actually downloading

Trying out a wizard. Hard to stay alive. Coming from a witch doctor. Any suggestions? He is a level 56.

use tough as nails instead of glass cannon if you're dying too much and use paralysis as well

Played around with an Arcane spec use Ray of Disintegration, it wasn't too bad. Maybe with a little better min/maxing it could be close to Frozen Orb. Problem is it doesnt have good passive I don't think.
Briefly tried a lightning build but it was pretty blah...it doesn't have the big hitter.
Haven't tried fire yet...seems like it would be a bit of DOT damage so dont know how good it would be.

Give temporal flux a try with the arcane build. It slows enemies more than any cold spell.
