Gameplay above story. A half arse story can be carried by great gameplay but not the other way around.

That plus people mistake story for other things. Last of us was an ok story but had great characters with gameplay that complemented it

Kotaku's review just said you're character becomes OP within the story's first act. That kind of sucks.

id like to get a stealth assassin type playthru and then maybe a Rambo/sbr2 type playthrough on a harder difficulty.
was a bit worried about that forbes article but then I remembered who the author was thanks to carson.
also that reddit post I linked renewed my faith. not sure how the discrepancy is so big (12 vs 40). someone is lying or they have very different ideas of what a complete playthrough is

Nixxes handled the HR port and it was great by all accounts
Jim Sterling gave it a 9/10, which is pretty crazy. Same complaint: story comes to a halt when you don't expect it to. I expect it to be finished in the season pass content

Have I mentioned that Tuesday midnight releases are dumb as shite!!!!!
I know that they do it because they want staff on regular pay to fix the shite they didn't do before launch, but dammit release a finished product on a Friday!

I disagree. Plenty of otherwise average games are carried by great stories.
