Anyone else picking this up? Getting good reviews so far (mostly 8/80s). Got the edition that comes with Heavy Rain, so it'll be nice to play that again with updated graphics since it's been awhile since the first playthrough.

Plus, Beyond Two Souls is free on PS Plus so it'll be a heavy Quantic Dream couple of weeks here

Interested in seeing how the board reacts to this game.

Beyond Two Souls wasn't very good, but I'm impressed by teh reaction Detroit has received. These games scream redbox though.

Apparently it’s better than most David Cage games.

I’ll pick it up for $20 in a few months

I never played any Quantic Dream game so I preordered Detroit so I could get Heavy Rain too. Got Beyond Two Sould with PS Plus this month.

I think I'm in the minority but I liked Beyond Two Souls way more than Heavy Rain

Played the demo over the weekend. It was decent. I wouldn't buy it for $60, but once it goes on sale down the road I'll most likely cough up a few bucks for it. Graphics seemed pretty nice.

I’m looking forward to playing it. I loved Heavy Rain. It is short though with a playthrough in about 10 hours. You need to replay the game a few times I understand to really see a lot of what there is to be seen so this game may be one to buy. I ain’t buying anything yet

I'm picking it up tomorrow, but don't know when I'll get to start it. I have never played a quantic dream game, but vI enjoyed Until Dawn and the first Walking Dead. The genre seems real interesting.

It's getting a bunch of mixed reviews, but I think I'll enjoy it. I'll pick it up today, but probably won't play until next week.

Visually the game looks amazing but it’s David Cage so the story sounds like it’s the most rote, paint by the numbers, cliched android story.

Started the beastcast this morning, and they were wondering why Sony kept throwing money at Cage like this because this game looks expensive. Vinny, kind of tongue in cheek, theorized that Sony treats these games kind of like R&D, because tech wise Quantic Dream games are super impressive even if there isn't much game to back it up.

Based on the demo, I'm super pumped about this game. Don't know that I'm pumped enough to pay $60 for it, out of the gate, but excited nonetheless.

Not even a hour in and feel like I need to restart. Controls are typical for this type of game. Feels like Until Dawn. I almost wished it didn't let you know you were missing things. It wouldn't let me explore so I just followed the mission and turns out I could have found things.

Someone on the Beastcast said this game is like if "Alexa made a sci-fi game".

Played quite a bit yesterday with my wife watching. I find the story boring. Not bad, not good. Just altogether dull.

I found Beyond Two Souls far more enjoyable than this game, but I'm sure I'm in the minority.

ETA: David Cage still hasn't figured out how to not be an ambiguous twit when it comes to game design. I meet a character and my options are "angry, indifferent, help, and threaten." This list makes it seem like a choice of possible reactions on my part. So, I select help thinking, "I'll offer help to this NPC and be friendly/approachable." Nope. "Help me or I'll sell you out!". NPC gets pissed and I get fricked out of an option.
