Also, apparently you get 3 individual downloads per code so if anyone else wants to play I will have 2 free downloads come tomorrow. They will only be for PS4 tho.

I'd bet good money they don't carry over. From my experience, it's just easier for them to wipe the slate and start over at launch.

This was at the bottom of the last page so I am re-posting:
So I pre-ordered Destiny, and I THINK I already input the code on Bungie.net. I was part of the Alpha as well. Am I gauranteed to be in the Beta? If I didn't input my beta code, where can I get a new code?

i did the same thing.
i think i put in my code. i tried to put it in again and it said my code had already been used.
i never got any kind of confirmation though.
preorder on amazon, get the code and cancel the order.
ETA: even so, i think each beta key comes with 3 additional invites so this board will be flooded with Destiy Beta Keys.

I just think it is the best term we have to explain a game that is not quite a Massive Multiplayer Online game.

right, i dont think you can pvp outside of the matchmaking system.
you can co-op pve out in the shared world, but you can't go start a war with another player just for shits and gigs (i think)

i know what you mean. I just laugh at these catch phrases and the people that eat the shite up. Another one is they love to say "open world" and people immediately think it makes the game better.

Go to Bungie’s website, log in, click on your profile, and then Codes or Redeemed Codes at the top.
It will show if you've redeemed a code. That is also where your download code will be.
