I hated it when I shot my bow at a titan who threw their hammer at me. It was as if it mulled the bow and they killed me every time.

In D1 they were great for the team. Often I'd go invisible and heal someone or use the bow and string a bunch of enemies to heal someone or whatever. I just hope they get rid of the sword as a special weapon. It was literally the special ability of the Hunter but as a heavy weapon.

Golden gun is very worthless in the beta. You have about 3 seconds to use it, which means you have to pull it close to the line of fire, which means they'll know you pulled it. Gone are the days of sprinting to the other side of the map with it to bust arse.
The hunter feels wayyyyy more athletic in D2 than D1 though and I think once people adjust to the play style hunters will be dominating crucible.

That golden gun tree is clearly for pve. Gives you six shots.
If you read the other tree you will see it is 3 like normal and a longer time to shoot. Head shots will extend it even longer. This is clearly for PVP. was not open to beta.
This should not be an issue at all.
