Well that's just not true. Gathering storm is probably the best DPS super right now. The arcstaf block with the helmet is 10x better than Ursa's at its height for pve damage blocking and super generation.
It is an fantastically strong pve class right now.

Wellspring Weapons Rotation
If you scroll down far enough, there's a drop down that'll give you the season's rotation. Looks like Come to Pass is every 4 days.

I jumped back on yesterday and have a lot to get through. I guess I stopped with shadow keep. But I forget how great it is. Def my favorite shooter.

Got tarnation today. Man, I'm behind. I just unlocked the higher level weekly's. Now, I have to finish that and I can do the exotic glaive quest.
