People are referring to it as a 1.5/major expansion. From the little of bit of content I've seen, they are bringing a lot of new mechanics so it may feel brand new.
I play a day or two in game once or twice a week to just build money and material reserves to be ready to jump in head first lol.

Just released in the jungle! Pretty neat mechanics so far and LOVE the jungle gun. Gonna get some serious play time on it this evening.

I finally broke through the roadblock on DK Bananza that had me all "meh" about it, so I'm finally enjoying it. I'll add this to my always-growing backlog of games to pick back up.
I never finished the main game, so there's going to be a lot of catch-up.

It's good. There is only one thing I didn't care for, but everything else has been fun additions or good new mechanics. Have enjoyed it a lot.

Downloaded it tonight and played for a bit. Enjoying it so far, but Jesus the new in-game time goes way to fast. Can't do but maybe one thing and it's time to either fish/cook/sleep.

You'll get used to it and optimize. Just get a dive in to keep the restaurant rolling and you'll be good.
