For those that have played, what was the learning curve like for you? I just started yesterday and lost my entire party on the second mission.

Lesson learned: Don't click on the red orbs unless you want your arse kicked by a netherworld beast.

I just picked this up yesterday on sale on Steam. Looking forward to diving into it, thanks for the orb tip! :)

I played it a few years ago. It was brutal through and through. My biggest problem was learning when to cut my losses and leave the dungeon to preserve my party vs continuing on. I don't know how much it's changed since then, but I'd recommend not getting too attached to any one party member.

get shambled nerd

it's a really fun game. need to really learn to use buffs and trinkets. quirks are important. a lot of interesting team comps.

there's so much in the game that if you make a small mistake, it can tank your run (especially on blood moon difficulty).

definitely use the wiki for what you need for each dungeon and what enemies you'll face in each dungeon

Definitely been having to research party comps in various dungeons, but the experimentation has been fun, if painful at times.

Learned to quit forgetting shovels. One room into dungeon and had to back out with 20+ stress to every member.

I agree. It's one of the best put together games I've seen with the absolute best choice of narrator ever.

Totally agree. I've finally found some time to play this and it's got me completely hooked. The characters are very interesting and experimenting with different combinations never seems to get old.

I agree with you about the shovel, too. The money you spend on stress relief if you go without one makes it a pretty good expense.

I do t think it's "hard".i don't often lose, but I do have to return a lot to the village for several reasons. I just play for awhile and end up getting stuck with no good options going forward.
