I don't get the hype. I farmed Souls like I farm in any other game and I became incredibly overpowered and it was all relatively easy one you figure out the boss mechanics. Just don't understand where this ohhhhh it's so hard comes from.

Anyone interested in doing a Dark Souls 2 re-play through to get ready for DS3? Thinking about starting a DS2 Revisited Thread, but I guess we can just this one. Thoughts?

I'm still on 360 with DS2
I also haven't finished DS2 yet

I may revisit DS1 to hit up the dlc tho. Pretty irritated with myself I haven't done that yet

I actually hardly ever do DS1 dlc anymore. Usually when I play its to try to get an achievement I have met yet. And none are associated with the DLC content.

I'll probably never get the elusive Dark Soul achievement though. I can't see how I would get all the miracles with so little online activity these days.

Not a troll. Is a fact. Spend a little time farming in each area and you will see what im talking about. Obviously being overpowered gives you no advantage if you cant help but fall off cliffs all of the time. Thats on you.

I think I might restart DS1 tonight. This thread motivated me.

He was pretty hard even with my dex, agl, stamina build. Will probably finish him off tonight.

Please tell me they are getting rid of the hp loss in ds3... I know it was an attempt to make death that much more painful, but by the time you are to the dlc it's just an annoyance that will not go away.

Embers replace Humanity and Human Effigies. If you consume an ember it raises your HP and will retract if you die, however, your HP bar doesn't continually deplete with each death.

ok perfect, like the first game. I liked the system in place in the first game much better... and I even farmed humanity in the first game from the Rats in the sewers just so I could stay human, but that's just because of aesthetic reasons

I actually still have not done any of the DLC. I beat the original game years ago on PS3, then later bought it on Steam and started a sotfs run, but got distracted.

But now is the time. Think I'm going to roll the classic sorceress.

Fume knight wasn't bad for me. Two cats/frigid outskirts now that was painful.

worst fight of all time, but it's way more cheap than hard. It's also in an area that was created for co-op... so that's why it doesn't get into my list.
