Dark Souls Support Group Needed

Let me preface by saying I am not looking for directions, secrets, or anything else that will spoil the experience. I want to play this one as blindly as possible.
I come here in need of strength as I am toiling through the Undead Parish, damaged uchigatana in hand, unable to find the next bonfire or a means to repair my weapon. I have wasted all of my fire bombs. I have no more humanity. I am hollowed and broken.
I am hoping to find resolve in your moments of triumph over desperate and bleak circumstances for Dark Souls has my balls in its crushing grasp. I do not want to quit. I will not quit. Share with me your glory so it may quicken my feet and light the darkened path before me.

Yes, I've made my way through the Undead Parish and into the church. With sorceries hurled at me and ironclad knights slashing with fierce precision, I have been left as a pool of unclaimed souls.
