I beat the game awhile back and sold it. I was SL 96 when I beat the game, I did a lot of farming for souls/ores.

ohh yeah i remember yous saying that.

Where did you farm?

The painted world had some phalanx that were numerous and easy to kill.

If I have to farm that is where I will go.

I have not felt the need to farm though.

Mostly in the sewers w/ that ring that increases your item discovery, I farmed those rats and jelly monsters.

For souls I did a lot of farming early on the bridge with the dragon.

Stay away from his tail as it does major damage. Also keep moving in a circle, I had the lightning spears so I would jab him and move, etc.

*Edit*
Make sure you're in the correct room and destroy the ice thing in the back.

its connected through Anor Londo. have to beat Londo first, then go through the Archives were Big Hat Logan is (must have freed him from Sens Fortress first).

if you free Big Hat there, he will teach you the best sorcery in the game. then you open up the way to Crystal Caverns where Seath is.

if you beat Seath, you get the best magic sword in the game (have to cut off it's tail). then you go back to Big Hat, and he will attack you for killing Seath. and if you beat him, you get all his gear.

He is behind the breakable wall right? The one with the lizard chilling against it?

Also,

Are there certain weapons that don't "back-stab" well, or am I just bad? I can never seem to backstab with the lightning spear.

I have had better success with other weapons, but I'm still not good at it. I can always get behind them, but it never gives me the backstab animation.

I'm sure this is true as when I had this spear I barely back stabbed as much as when I had the schimtar.

So, I'm a total noob at this game (never played Demon's Souls). I'm playing as a warrior, melee/tankish but trying to stay somewhat mobile.

I'm wondering about upgrading weapons and whatnot. Should I be planning on having like a claymore sword or something that I'll use a bunch of titanite chunks/shards on? Or will I find better weapons as I go along. Right now it seems like the Drake sword is better than anything else with base stats. Just wondering what some of you have done? Do I need to save my titanite shards/chunks for later in the game, or go ahead and use them now?

Thanks for any help/understanding.

In the beginning I upgraded my starting weapon but as I got further into the game I finally found one weapon that was better: lightning spear. If you use them you can always farm for those shards in the sewers once you get that ring that increases your item discovery later on in the game.

Got another question. Can I attune miracles and pyromancy at the same time at a bonfire and use both while playing? I have 2 attunement slots right now, and I can use Heal miracles, and I can also use FireBall or FireOrb. But I tried to attune both and put the talisman in one hand and the pyro-glove in another hand and it only seems to use whichever spell I have attuned first. Is it possible to do both types of magic? Or am I missing some stat levels or something?

Thanks

It never seemed as if the team was terribly excited about producing DLC.

I'd gladly pay for it, but just saying...

There are new bosses as well in the PC version, and that should be [probably] enough of an incentive for people to buy it, along with the superior graphics of course.
