I've had a terrible time with invaders today. I just have to accept the fact that there are people out there who are much better and more advanced at this game than me.
And I saw another one of those vagrants today. It shot like a bunch of soul arrows at me and almost killed me while I was in the middle of a fight!

I think they're all assholes. Level up in to the hundreds and then invade someone trying to get help on a boss. Dickheads. You know they camp out too just waiting

Bought this for 20 bucks and started playing it last night. Enjoying it so far.

It gets much better. And much worse

Bump

Just beat Smough and Ornstein. By far the hardest battle I've encountered so far.

The next time you fight them it will be a lot easier.

Yeah. It'll do that sometimes

it's okay you'll get through it I promise. Just don't get into a rush because that's how you die.

I want to complete my first play-thru before 3/18 which is exactly two weeks so I can focus on other game. I'm at the crystal cave. I can play around 3 hours a week. Do I have a chance?

Have you finished off tomb of the giants and lost izalith?
Crystal caves sucked for me the first time through. But then again, most of the areas weren't much fun the first time around.
The boss isn't too bad really. I was obsessed with taking the tail which can be tedious. Boost your curse resist for this one.

Gave up on O&S tonight. It's late and I'm tired. But I got Quelaag's Furysword! But I totally forgot I needed 11 str to wield properly. And I no longer had a + scimitar available. So I ended up farming the silver knight in the adjacent room for awhile so I could level up str one point.
No time to take out O&S tomorrow since I'm picking up my wife from the airport. Which means I probably won't be able to play again till Sat.

No

once I figured out why a chest held shitty little prism stones and started tossing them out, and how people were able to leave messages on thin air, it wasn't too bad at all. I left the butterflies alone. Period

He was actually too easy IMO. Beat him first time I tried. I kept hacking at his tail but never got the sword I heard about. Maybe I was hitting too high up. I'll post the vid later tonight.
I equipped Xanthos armor which has the highest curse resist in my arsenal right now. I used 1-2 estus flasks the entire battle. Seath is a chump
I'm in New Londo Ruins now. Just met the mage and got the key for the four kings dungeon. I guess that's what it is. He gave me a key and said something about watching over them and that was the key I needed. Had to go to work so that's where I'm at when I resume.

I plan on making them my whipping boys. Probably tomorrow night

If you summoned Beatrice against moonlight butterfly, she is available against the four kings.
Her summon sign is hidden, but is near the fog gate leading down to them.
Also, make sure you wear the ring that shields you from the abyss or your trip will be cut short.
