I think Les doesn't get enough credit for doing the very best with what he has...the passing game just isn't there. A&M knows it, LSU imposes it's will on offense with the run and they still can't stop it. However, Les does get way too conservative in third down situations, but again...he only can work with what he knows works.
What my problem is is that with all the talent we can get from around the country, how haven't we gotten more at QB?

I like Les as a head coach. Just think he needs to get a good OC and let him do his thing.

And now they throw...just, wow...

Agree
Les can coach till the cows come home, but let someone else call the plays
AJF, I think the 2 QB system for the past 8 years had something to do with the big recruits looking the other way

Mett has the skill, he's just not consistent.

QB's will want to come as soon as lsu proves they can develop one.

You say this:
And then this
Which is it?
Johnny Football is a damn freshman and somehow aTm has a dynamic offense
It pisses me off to see freshman qbs putting up big stats when we can't do shite with 3 and 4th year guys

That's what I mean. Les knows he has the skill, but he also knows that he can't count on him yet.

Consistency is a part of development. Development is on the coaches

Maybe so...but how is every position on this team coached up and almost limitless at talent? Do the coaches get credit for that?
