Because I don't care if they make more money. If my experience is the same or better because they made more money, I'm all for it.
Activision had to push microtransactions into Oblivion plus season passes to make it a worthwhile investment for destiny. While epic made a free game but did transactions on skins only and there was no change in gameplay. Season passes we're 9.99 and you can continually get the new season for free if you played enough.
These companies have to make money or we aren't going to get a good experience.

That's basically what he's arguing to you
Just because companies are getting a bigger cut it wont stop them from making even more money off of microtransactions

That's why I said less likely the first time. If they don't get more money you can BET they will try and make it up by microtransactions and pay walls.

But the experience isn't the same. They get more money while you gobble down a worse product. I don't get your adamant stance that Epic can't be criticized or compared to their competition.
It doesn't matter how much more they make, they're just going to find more ways to exploit you if you let them.

I think I'm doing fine with Fortnite. I don't feel cheated and exploited.
