Im thinking about setting up my first gaming PC and switching over from consoles. Ive never had a gaming PC.

What are the essentials?

What brand controller should I buy?

What is a good entry level PC for gaming?

What do I need to download besides steam?

Pretty much looking for a beginners gaming PC guide if anyone has one.

Make sure to download the Epic store too.

Better games being offered.

Most people don't. Youtube is a beautiful place

But if you're adamant about not building one, one of us here would likely do it for you if you're local

Just plug in a Dualshock 4 for the games that are better played with a controller. Most games are better with keyboard and mouse though.

.

Y'all basically play everything with a keyboard and mouse.

How is that compared to a controller?

This.

The only time my PS controller gets used is on the PS.

XBox won this one.

The Dualshock 4 is just a better product. As pretty much any review site or non bias person will tell you.
If you prefer your left stick in the top that is a personal preference and is a reasonable reason.

That's the sole reason I built a PC to begin with.

I haven't touched a controller in my house in a loooooonggg time. I think the last time I played rocket league (do not try and play this with a kbm ) was the last time I used a controller, and that was probably a year ago

I don't know how you can call me bias. I am solely a PC player, and I absolutely despise (like many non-PS players do) the joystick placement
