The trailer development team probably didn't budget for trigger warnings so they had to make do with what they had.

German source - 50 technologies have been removed, meaning Civ VI only has 30 total technologies to research. Every Civ since Civ II has had 80+ techs to research.
It's fairly clear at this point that Firaxis is making Civ VI a casual, mobile style game for a broader audience.
