I rearranged by 4 bases, hero bases and towers a bit to try to get more coverage to try B again

Can the spirit mage fly over walls? Or can any heroes fly over walls besides the angel? Ice demon looks like he can, but he won't.

I am about to rethink my entire base design for about the 12th time. I currently have my towers in the middle surrounded by walls, then the rest of my buildings and troops all around that core with another wall around everything. I have one opening in my outer wall that is loaded up with bombs and 2 heroes.
I like my heroes and troops to fight together, but that leaves so much of the base unguarded. Seems like if you spread your guys around to protect 360 degrees, they are too easy to take out in small groups.
I think I will try piling up all my towers, troops, and heroes in the middle, and surround them with buildings. Maybe I can get double coverage over the whole base that way so at least half my troops can fight together. I'm hoping attackers will stay occupied attacking buildings while my guys work them over. It's got to be better than what I've got now.

Hell I was in the 150-300 range and then after the update I woke up and was in the 900 range and I can't get back that low now
