Aye, I notice on the loading screen it says certain troops work better with one another. All i use is griffins bc they're maxed and do well for raiding... What do yall use? Particularly for HBM. What "goes together"?

I don't use any troops for HBM for a few reasons. First, sometimes they kill too many on the first wave, and the remaining enemies can't destroy my outer buildings fast enough, so it times out. Second, if you rely on troops to help you beat it, it can get expensive and time consuming to keep replacing them.
I only use troops for raiding, and lately I only use thopters. Lots of people use griffins for their firepower, but I prefer thopters for their HP and depend on my heroes for firepower.
I wish there was more strategy for troops. Maybe the mystery "troop talents" will fix that one day.

My heroes are great with Cupid's abilities, druid's regen and ninja plowing through walls. I don't really "relyl on the troops for HBM bc I usually do that after a raid or two while me heroes are dead. Just wondering if something have an edge for HBM. Getting close to getting lvl 80 troops.

So I'm getting close to stun locking the boss. I did 2 million damage in one go last night. Once I get PD to 5/9 I might be able to go the full 3 minutes. If not, I might need to roll revitalize on my Champ.

PD 5/9 should get you close. Doing the full 3 minutes can screw you over if there's a bunch of heavy hitters participating. I usually go 90 secs and exit. Maybe we need to do boss 2 once a week?

I'm down. I'm kind of at a point that my heroes level so slowly I don't need HB as quickly.

Sorry, got home after getting drunk with my dad, was surprised to find it hadn't been run...no one was on so I just ran it.
