Xbox boss Phil Spencer has confirmed that Call of Duty - along with the likes of Diablo and Overwatch - is eventually coming to Game Pass but it'll still be released on PlayStation on the same day.

This is the sole reason they bought Activision. So they can put Call of Duty on game pass.

I guess it’s good for the future but the deal to buy activision hasn’t gone through yet so this could be a couple of years away.

And I got black ops 3, black ops 4, cod modern warfare remastered and ww2 all free through ps plus.

Anyone still think that Game Pass is not a good deal?

Deal will be done by mid-2023 at the latest, and they'll have all COD games on Game Pass shortly after.

I don't get it either, but it's one of the best selling franchises.

Merely formalities. There's no legitimate reason not to let the deal go through.

It probably goes through, but it's not super priced in at the moment.

The campaigns are still a guilty pleasure of mine though the last two were not very good.

I haven't played since Modern Warfare, but man I put some hours playing that game. I'm hoping I can get some of my friends to get it. They've done moved on to DayZ and Conan, but I just can't get in to those games.

Game Pass is awesome. My kids find plenty of games to play on there that they love. Their flavors change quickly too, so it works perfectly. I have been able to find a few entertaining games on there that I enjoy. Most recently far cry 5. I was a little pissed that they pulled GTA V off. I like having EA Play on there. Access to sports games that I like, but don't want to pay for is nice.
