Old movies have no issues. It's mostly just newer releases and it happens when the exclusivity rights for HBO or Cinemax kick in. They pay a lot of money to be the only ones allowed to broadcast it for a certain time period.

Do thw same usage rights apply to vudu? I kknow my dad purchases alot of movies and shows through there.
