yeh, i hit it about 3 months. i'm not much of a gamer score elitist either.
i'm not gonna spend 3 hours chasing one stupid achievement, if i get playing normally great, if not, don't care.
pevy and diz ready to suit up and conquer this beast?

I had something come up this morning and couldn't get online so we will just have to run with them tonight.
I just bought 3 of the DLC. Didn't get the Underdome one cause someone said it was basically just a horde mode. I grabbed them before they aren't on sale anymore.

You can get some pretty decent loot from it, but I got bored quickly.

depending on how far we get tonight i will do the same.

I'm a level 17/18 Soldier. We've killed Sledge already so I think we're probably anywhere 35-50% with strictly the initial campaign.
I've concentrated my skills points mostly on my health, gun skills, and turret power.
level 7/8 with an combat rifle
level 5 with a sniper rifle
level 4 with a shotgun (I have Sledge's badass shotty)
level 1 SMG & pistol. not a fan of any SMG so far. I take a look at the damage rate's of the SMG and think they suck, but forget the fire rate is a lot hire than an combat rifle.
so tonight i'll try to up my SMG skills.
and we've got some pretty sweet shields at the moment. i've gotten fairly decent at driving so it's gets us from here to there.

Driving does take some getting used to, but it's fun once you get it down.
I'm going to log onto my game at home sometime and figure out what this SMG is called. It has such a high rate of fire and reload speed. Best gun I've used in the game so far. You'll tear through ammo, so make sure you have the ammo replenish perk going.
There was another one I used before it that had fire elemental. I thought I would retire on that gun until I found this one.
Also, you can do a second run through of the main campaign when you're done. So all of the beginning quests will scale up with you.

Finally beat this game. We all played for about 9 hours yesterday catching some people up to me and KK. I passed out but they kept going so they might have beat it last night. I got on and finished it up in about another 4 hours or so. Now on to the DLC

Yeah, honestly we accidentally beat it. I didn't realize it was so short. I found a 55x5 SMG last night. Sooooo bad arse.

Most of those smg's are more about the rate of fire rather than damage. With an elemental attack, it's baus.
If you do the zombie dlc, don't bother collecting the brains until you get a specific quest. I kept collecting them, and when we finally found the quest, none of it counted. Not a big deal, but it will save you the headache

Yeah, I liked it. I wish I understood my class better in the beginning. The Sirens invisible shite combined with the shock melee is fricking awesome

Go ahead and grab the Zombie DLC first. Looks more fun than the others. Or grab all 3 of the mission ones and we can knock them all out.

The brains actually stay on the ground forever so you can go ahead and slaughter all the zombies you want, just don't pick up any more brains than you need to for the mission. I think the final part is a little over 400 brains.

i have one smg with no scope but 222x2 damage + massive criticals. another with 125x4 and x4 flame. still use pestilent defiler as my pistol, and a liquid sniper over 1000 with a 5 mag clip and a 0.7 fire rate. i finished all the dlc's minus claptrap, if yall need any extras to play hit up a thread and ill jump on. i have a huge locker of guns in the underdome that i can raid if anyone is high enough level to use them. only thing i havent done is defeat crawmerax.
