Do these have a good single player campaign?

Is it story or gameplay driven?

Should I only play 2 or play the first one beforehand.

You should play all of them. Part 2 is the best by far but 1 and the Pre Sequel are fun too.

Borderlands 1 and 2 are both amazing single or co-OP games. Two of my personal favorites of all time. Pre-Sequel is absent. We don't talk about the Pre-Sequel.

BL2 + DLCs is one of the best games ever made

Pre Sequel is much better than the first one. It gets hate because it can't live up to the standards of the second one, which are quite high.

I just cannot get into these games when playing single player.

Borderlands 2 is in my personal top 3 games.

Big fan of the siren.

I can't get over the lack of AA in the first one. You can force it with injection on the PC but it still looks like throw up on screen.

The Pre Sequel wins out vs BL1 just over that issue. I like the beginning of the Pre Sequel a lot, those blues and purples in space look awesome.

The low gravity jumping, butt stomps, and laser guns add some fun new features. The badass coins is a much better way to upgrade than BL1's method. BL1 has better DLC and better characters but that's about it. No Jack really hurts it as well.

I'm playing 2 in VR, (first time playing BL series) and I'm blown away.

I've been thinking of picking it up for PSVR, but was concerned about the controls. How are you playing it? Dualshock, Moves, Aim controller? How's it feel? I know a patch came a few weeks ago that supposedly improved the controls a lot.

I played it with the dualshock for about 2 hours and it was good, the moves are okay, not bad.

But i picked up the aim yesterday and played an hour of it, it's made for the aim, its very good with it.
