Bloober Working on Another Silent Hill Remake

What do we think? Remake of SH1? Would love to see a remake of SH4, but there's no chance that'll be what they're working on.

IGN is saying it is SH1. The Bloober tweet was worded strangely (i.e., "a #SILENTHILL remake project..."), but I guess it's confirmed they were referring to an SH1 remake.

I tried playing SH when it came out, and for the life of me, I couldn't get into it. Resident Evil, too.

I also wish they'd picked Silent Hill 4 instead. I think the simple graphics made the first game more unnerving than it would be if it was more realistic.
But at least with modern technology they can make the school look just like the one in Kindergarten Cop now.

I thought the silent hill 2 remake was great.
I couldn’t get into silent hill back in its heyday and I’m excited to revisit more remakes if they keep churning them out.

Im doing a replay of the first three games right now. Three still holds up ok as for as graphics. 1 was rough but those old school ps1 graphics actually added to the creepiness factor in a way I wasnt expecting. I thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to see a full remake.
