Blackout Beta XB1X/PS4 only

Figured we could use a thread to discuss the finer details.
Armor is OP as frick. Put a whole spitfire clip into an enemy and got amror markers the entire time.
Awareness/Dead Silent turns your into a one man death dealing machine.
Scopes are decent. Not a fan of anything less than 4x.
Little bird is fricking fun.
Never stand still, always be strafing.
Blue columns of light lead me to zombies everytime. They dropped high level gear.

Watched some gameplay yesterday. Looks like a simpler version of PUBG for console, but much more optimized

I haven’t played for a few days but they nerfed lvl 3 armor yesterday or today. You probably didn’t put a whole clip into him though.
I’m really enjoying this so far. I haven’t bought a CoD at launch since BLOPS 2 but I am getting this. I didn’t get in on the MP beta but I heard it was garbage, which is okay because I’m a BR guy nowadays. I did love what I was seeing with BFV beta but I’m not a fan of their “live service” route they’re going with and I’ve read that they’re planning on featuring cars/tanks in their BR which is a turnoff. They shouldn’t be anything more than a quick way around the map. H1Z1 suffered from this when they came out on PS4. Every game, it was 8 people left, 7 of them in a vehicle.

Camped stairs in a house with 8 left and circle closing. Believe me, I'm used to dsync issues with pubg and server not reading hits on it's end, I shot center mass his entire way up the stairs. It was the whole clip.

I feel like this is the best version of BR I have seen yet.
PUBG would still be relevant if it wasn't developed by idiots. The gun play PUBG offers is in a league of its own but its just sad everything else is broken. Oh well.

Yeah. I found myself attempting to find cover and lean. Didn't work out too well. I didn't play much FPP on PUBG, so this was a wake up call. Can't third person peek here.

Pubg was like that in the beginning on Xbox. Then people realized how to shoot tires and camp the inevitable.

Bruh, the only thing I see PUBG having on Blackout is maybe it's a little less arcady with perks and whatnot.
Graphics, gunplay (hit registration) pace, audio all clear winners by Blackout.
One gripe, I wish Blackout had real world names for it's guns.

Once CoD goes on sale for $40 on Black Friday, PUBG is done. Then after Christmas, bluehole might as well start working on a new game.

Graphically, PUBG was limited from the beginning. Every subsequent patch thereafter broke more than it fixed.
Them releasing "1.0" was very obviously a money grab to try and collect as much as possible before CoD and BF put the nail in their coffin.
I'm sure they will have some hardcore PUBG'ers that will stay loyal, but it's obviously outclassed now the AAA studios have stepped in, and BF hasn't even released theirs yet.

I'm a diehard PUBG'er and I could tell after a few minutes of watching streams this week that my PUBG days are about to come to an end. Nothing worse than the awful FPS drops PUBG gets at the most inopportune moments that leads to a late game death.
I'm on the XBONE and I preordered last night. Really looking forward to jumping on tonight and testing this bad boy out.
