That 32gb download is no joke. Took almost 4 hours. Got done at 11:30pm and U-Verse internet went out during character creation

Does anyone have a Guest Pass for this game they are willing to give out? I have heard some good things about this game and want to try it before purchasing.

I did the same thing, followed the main quest line all the way up to Heidel. I ended up going back to Velia just poking around and picked up some quests I wasn't seeing previously.
Long story short: I spoke to someone that basically said talk to people, gain knowledge etc...even if they don't look important talk to them. Random arse villagers will teach you things like how to grow crops or do this and that. Essentially, slow down and take your time and get involved and you will learn so much more about the game. At least that has been my experience over the last week.

honestly, I've been thinking about doing something similar just for the combat combos. I get stuck using the same few attacks constantly because I can never remember combos to do and I just play it like street fighter button mashing, or even better, an old school Tony Hawk barrage of never ending shite.

That's why I'm just saving combat points to upgrade existing attacks don't want to learn new combos I won't use

honestly, I just need the practice with getting used to the keys. Right now I typically only involve the right and left mouse button attacks and randomly I'll go "oh shite, I have a series of F attacks too"
At one point in time somehow my hotbar got cleared and I couldn't remember what attacks were on there. I try and keep F attacks on my hotbar to take advantage of my mouse buttons better, but I know I'm missing certain attacks. Honestly though, I've done so little combat over the last 2-3 play sessions that I'm gonna need a refresher anyway

I need to figure out the conversation mechanic,it's definitely worth chatting up everyone and getting quests from them.
