I just stayed on the ramp vs mad mel and sniped the frick out of him. Im guessing that is one of the cheap ways. They couldnt hit me.

If you fight him straight up, Mad Mel can be a pain in the rear but fun with 2 vehicles. Really easy to beat him "cheap like".

I really enjoyed fighting Crawmerax in the first game, and this Terramorphous thing looks just as interesting. Hopefully he'll drop some good loot like Crawerax does.

I died a couple of times driving in circles so I just drove the front wheels off the ramp and shot at him and the other cars until he died. I had to swap vehicles a couple of times but it worked.

Really, I don't want to get sucked back into Fallout, I suck at The Show, Skyrim's gotten buggy, I can't stay connected to BF servers, and MGS 4 isn't doing it for me.

picked up the first one a few weeks ago. It started off slow (single player) but now i love it. Finally played online last night once I hit level 20. I guess I didn't understand that loot was a free for all. That's annoying as hell but I guess you just have to ninja better than the others in your group? Is there any type of etiquette system?

If you have your party set up right, you need to have one. If a guy is spec'd for sniping (Mordeci), there's no point in him getting all of the best rocket launchers. And generally you want your Beserker to have the higher capacity shields since he'll be in there doing more close range attacks.
The only thing that gets spread out between everyone is the money. If it's on the ground or in containers. The money you get for selling items goes only to you.
What me and my friends typically do is look at all the stuff. Everyone gets what they think they need, and the rest we split up for selling.

thanks, so best bet is find some regulars to play with. I played WoW back in the day so I was used to that system. Guess I'll have to get a headset and what not.
Also, last night i found a shield that has like 20983252 defense in it (or whatever the stat is called). Is this some type of hack/cheat and will i get kicked off for using it? It was on the ground.

If it was on the ground, no it's not a hack. But are you sure you have those stats right? What system? Do you remember the name of it?

I will look it up when I get home, but it had full digits across the stat line, meaning 6 or 7 numbers that looked pretty random. It had a name and was a purple so who knows. I do know that once equipped I took zero damage. I think one of the other guys threw it down for me but not sure.

It could be. I remember seeing a video about a guy finding this shield with otherworldly stats. I officially hate you if this is true

It seems strange that you found something like that you could equip at around level 20. I would imagine that's a higher level shield.

No shite. I think the best I have found is around 200 and I am a 23 or 24 now

I snagged one that's about 350. I think I'm level 24 now. I need to play some more but I couldn't yesterday due to the power being out all damn day
