Agreed. They said he was based on Johnny Depp's character in Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Just a few more levels and I can fight Hyperious. Made it to a 46 yesterday.

finally logged on yesterday afternoon. tried the DLC at level 43 and got raped by some crazy arse pirate at the very beginning. couldn't find a group to do it so went back to sanctuary and gambled.

What weapons are you guys using the most? I find myself constantly using burst fire snipers, they seem like the most effective (multiple crits). I still haven't found a good SMG or rifle (at least nothing to compare to BL1 Hellfire SMGs).

It really depends what i'm doing, but it seems that the handguns scale at a faster rate than any rifles/smg/shotgun. handguns are boring to me so i rarely use them.
Moxxi's SMGs are legit. I like having a fire SMG with a shock shotty in the other hand when zerking. Slag sniper rifles are helpful but when you're in a group you rarely snipe anything.
I change grenades a lot and go through them quickly. try to use the ones that pull enemies in before exploding.

It's taking me for ever to level up. Leveled up once yesterday. Was a 30 when I got the DLC and made it to 33 when I beat it.

shite, can't recall now. Do remember trying to save a bunch of money for badass points and losing 20k when getting killed.

The first time through. It does. When I started playing the second play through, I leveled up a lot faster. Most missions have over 10K xp rewards and enemies give you more xp.

You will have to go to the lighthouse and put them in and it will shine a beacon to a certain spot. Go to that point and you are almost done. That is the story line. I think there may be one or two side missions you may still find.

Are you doing the DLC in TVHM? I just stayed in that mode and then went to Oasis directly. Got a lot of xp on missions there.
