BIOMUTANT - releasing May 25

Has anyone looked into this game? Looks interesting, but also could be a total flop. Looks like a mix between Shadow of the Colossus, Monster Hunter, and Ratchet & Clank.

This isn't my normal cup of tea, so I doubt I'll pay full price for it, but I'm definitely going to keep an eye on it going forward.

That's where I'm at.. but I've also slowed down on buying games considerably in the last 6 months or more. The older I get I find myself more content just reading about new stuff rather than actually buying and playing them myself. I get bored very easily.

I'm the same way these days. Just not enough time to game like I use to but I like to keep up with the gaming industry and what new things come out.

Reviews are in and most are saying it's got some good unique qualities but it's an overall mediocre experience. Sucks to see but ill still probably check it out down the line

I’m downloading this to my PS5 right now, the file size is only 11GB, SSD for the win. I watched a few streamers play it on Twitch the last week, and it looks like a fun game.

So I got a few hours in last night. Overall I would probably give the game a 6/10.
The mechanics and crafting systems are fun, although there is a lot going on so it is a little overwhelming.
The map is quite large, but it seems rather hollow. Not a ton of AI on the map so far or loot. It seems to be just all for looks.
I haven’t been super-challenged during any fights yet, but I’m sure that’ll change soon.
I’m enjoying it, but it does leave wanting a little more out of it.
