Not sure if they work for targeting, but I know they'll stick to friendly players and they glow...brightly. I threw about 8 into someone's arse the other day. I guess they stick into enemy players too.

My goal this weekend is to play a deathmatch round just shooting people with tracer darts...especially when we have the tank.

It won't kill them but they will be on everyone map

I'd think that tracer darts would be better suited to armor and choppers, but whatever floats your boat.
I'd suppose that it would only really be useful for spotting hard to see snipers when it comes to people on foot, and isn't that what the spot button is for?
However, I'd shite a brick if I had a rocket homing in on me while I thought I was being sneaky hiding in the trees.

Tracer seems useless to me. If you're close enough to shoot them with the tracer gun, wouldn't you be close enough to just knife them? Also, you could just spot them with the back button..

yes, but it won't kill them. You can make them look like a christmas tree though.

Yes, and you can home missles in on them. Shot one on accident one time while aiming for a tank. Pulled out the PRG and you should have seen that grenade chase his arse then BOOM. First I was like

Your story is flawed. You have to lock on to the target. I just don't believe you.
