What part of Ft. Walton were you guys at? It's not paradise, but I never considered it that bad. Although I haven't been that way in a while. Used to only go to the mall and the theater there, but the Rave and Commons in Destin laugh at them.

I'm not doing a transfer. I'll start my package in June so that it's approved and everything is lined up for when I get out. I can't have more than 24 hours of separation from the service so on Dec 8th, 2013 I'll get my DD-214 and hang up my Marine uniform and on the 9th, I'll throw on an Army uniform and swear in again and head to Warrant Officer's school.

Across the street from Cash's? I don't ever recall that place being trashy. You're right at the beginning of the "tourists strip" on 98. Nothing but crap for the visitors. Again, I don't spend much time down that way anymore, so maybe it's changed. Old Bay Steamer was legit, though.
